In this SOLE Treadmill Review, you can find the most important aspects of the brand, information on different models and the best place to find them.
Sole Treadmills are one of the best-cataloged brands for treadmills in the market. They are high-end for increasing performance. They offer an industry-leading warranty and a proprietary Cushion Flex Whisper Deck, shown in a study to reduce the impact on your joints.
This review intends to view the basic aspect of most of the models and at the end, I’ll check some specific features in different models. Then, you can find out the one that best suits your needs. Along with this SOLE treadmill review article, you’ll also find pictures of different models where you can display, without leaving this site, features and prices of the different SOLE treadmills.
SOLE Treadmill Review
Let’s start with a quick overview of the treadmills
The SOLE Treadmill comes by default with a minimum fifteen (15) programmed workouts. This particular feature will give you the opportunity to try and strength different aspects of your body.
This will bring variety to your daily training, even if it is a walk or if you like jogging. Of course, you can use their mp3 capability. Also, a nice touch, it has a nice cooling fan.
The treadmills are constructed with high-quality materials so they can support most of your intense workouts.
Motors are also strong with a DC-power feature, you can find them between 3.25 and 4.0 CHPs, with speeds between 0.5 to 15 Miles per Hour (MPH). Also, depending on the model.
They have large running surface, late in this article, you’ll see some differences depending on the models.
In the next video, you’ll see some of the design features of the Sole Treadmills:
In the next table, you will find a comparison of some models
|Height||57 in||58 in||58 in|
|Width||35 in||35 in||35 in|
|Lenght||83 in||80 in||80 in|
|Weight||253 lbs||265 lbs||265 lbs|
|Maximum Speed||11 mph||12 mph||12 mph|
|Weight Capacity||250 pounds||350 pounds||400 pounds|
Next, you can see a specific review for the F65 model in a very quick video:
The treadmills have an Easy Assist Folding Deck Design that allows you to release the deck. The Cushion Flex Whisper Deck provides comfort and quiet workout. This also reduces the impact up to 40% on your knees.
The speed goes from 0.5 to 12 miles per hour with 3.25 CHP motor and 4 CHP motor as you could read on the table.
The incline goes from 0 to 15%.
You can also attach a chest strap and pulse grips to monitor your heart rate.
Also, it has a cooling fan and a mp3 compatible sound system.
The SOLE Treadmills has a 7.5″ blue LCD display with 1 manual program and 10 standard programs:
- Hill (2)
- Fat Burn (2)
- Cardio (2)
- Strength (2)
- Interval (2)
It has also 2 custom programs, 2 heart programs (60% of Heart Rate Maximum and 80% of Heart Rate Maximum).
Every Workout data includes level, calories, time, pulse, RPM, and a Quarter Mile Track.

Who is SOLE Fitness? SOLE Fitness is an American company that has been providing exercise equipment for decades. Their target market is hotels but has slowly evolved into residential sales.
SOLE Fitness equipment also provides bikes, rowers, and elliptical machines; soon, we will review some of their equipment as a future complement to this SOLE Treadmill Review.
Continuing with this SOLE Treadmill Review, the SOLE F65 Folding Treadmill is a great treadmill. The quality and durability is a must in this model and superior models. It warranties reliability and durability.
However, there are some features that people may not like. For example, it only comes with 15 workouts and no ability to add more, which is little for a treadmill in this price range.
You can’t connect it to 3rd party add-ons or application in your smartphones so you can download your tracking data and evaluate it later.
F83 and F85
There is no much difference between the F83 and F85. Both incorporate the largest deck that SOLE offers, an exceptional 22″ wide running surface that is comfortable for any runner.
In fact, the F85 can handle users weighing up to 400 lbs, and you can find two separate heart rate control programs.
The heart-rate control option is customizable, and it can automatically calculate your recommended target range based on your age, this will bring some safety to your workout.
So, which one?
In our opinion, the SOLE F65 Treadmill is a good buy, not only compared with the F80 or F85 models, but with other treadmills in this price range.
In some ways, the SOLE F65 Treadmill is probably a better option than its more expensive F80 and F85 models.
You can find the same great features, and the difference in size dimensions may not buy it costs.
3rd party reviews
I think you may find useful a couple of SOLE Treadmill Review from others. Here are the best I found:
I use this treadmill strictly for running, averaging 25 miles per week at speeds from 6-10 mph. Some of the console features seem oddly lacking for a treadmill at this price. The distance reads only to the tenth of a mile, not hundredths, effectively rounding down all your distances (unless you can estimate hundredths by a portion of the track icon that’s filled in). And the time reads only 2 digits for minutes, then flips back to zero after 99 minutes. This might not matter to you unless you spend 2-3 hours on the machine for long workouts. This treadmill takes much longer to speed up and slow down than a gym treadmill; this makes interval training very different. There’s about a 20-second lag between the speed you punch in and the belt reaching that programmed speed. While the speed has both a numeric display and a round speedometer-like graphic, both of them read only what you’ve punched in, not what the belt is actually turning, and you get no indication when the belt has reached that programmed speed (all speeds in the meantime are a mystery). The quick speed buttons of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 12 may be convenient for walkers, but runners will still spend much of their time pressing and holding the speed up/down buttons. The fan has only one speed (weak). The speakers are adequate for my iPod, but there is no volume control on the console, so you have to be able to reach the input device to change it.

If you’re a big person (400 lbs & 6’5″) like I am, this is the treadmill for you. I had been shopping for a treadmill for months but because of my size, I wasn’t having much luck. All of the consumer grade machines out there had a weight capacity of only 300 to 350 lbs. I was losing hope then I found the Sole F-85. I have to admit, I was nervous about dropping 1900 dollars on a product without having the opportunity to try it but this treadmill didn’t disappoint. It took about 2 and a half hours to assemble it. The printed instructions were somewhat lacking but luckily there are videos on youtube which show the whole process step by step.
As soon as I pulled my F-85 out of the box, I was impressed. Most home treadmills are small and fragile looking. That wasn’t the case with the F-85. Even though it’s not a commercial grade unit, you wouldn’t know by looking at it. This sucker is BIG and STURDY and it handles my weight without any difficulty. Now granted, I only use my treadmill for walking but most treadmills I’ve tried for home gyms will slow down or even stop if I step down too hard. The Sole doesn’t even strain itself. It just keeps chuggin’

A treadmill must be taken seriously. It is an expensive equipment, so if you decide to take one to your home, which also will help to your health and to your sports performance, you may consider a couple of extra things.SOlE Tread Lube Sole F63 Treadmill Safety Key
